Morning Star’s after school program offers students a fun, safe, educational environment. After a long day at school, each child is able to have a healthy snack and exert their energy on our nature based playground. Time can be allotted for independent work, if your child would like time for homework. Our teachers encourage teamwork through group games and projects, which also fosters a sense of community and belonging.

For added convenience, Morning Star provides full day care (additional fees apply) on most days that Knox County schools are closed. Over extended breaks from school, field trips may be taken when possible. We know that we are a place that your child will enjoy coming each day!​
