Infants

In our infants program, our primary concerns are the infant’s health, safety, and security. The infant teachers, most of them mothers themselves, are trained in human growth and development, so they can respond to each child’s developmental needs. We play, cuddle, sing and rock with them just as you would and offer a home away from home. We emphasize the importance of developing a warm and stable relationship with each baby and establish this by maintaining a low ratio in each of our infant rooms.

Morning Star’s curriculum provides a stimulating environment with toys, manipulative materials and interactions that help babies develop in the areas of cognitive, language, and sensory development, as well as large and small motor skills. Teachers maintain open communication with parents about baby’s sleeping, eating and developmental patterns through digital daily reports and portfolios. At Morning Star, we believe the bond between baby, parent, and teacher is important to your child’s well being and we strive to make it strong!
