Morning Star’s Kindergarten program began in response to years of demand from our parents. There was and is a need for a hands-on, small, individualized learning environment that accommodates children who excel in a small classroom, but are overwhelmed with the dynamics of a big, crowded classroom. Our licensed Kindergarten class gives parents a better alternative to the traditional Kindergarten Program.

By offering an individualized curriculum and low student to teacher ratio, Morning Star sets the stage for every student to excel. Lessons are interactive with a focus on teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and creativity. Technology is incorporated daily through the use of a smart board and in class Chromebooks. Literacy and math are intertwined with lessons in science, social studies, the arts, and more.

Morning Star’s Kindergarten extends students’ learning experiences with field trips and visits from professional members of the community. Additionally, students learn two foreign languages, Mandarin and Spanish, throughout the year. During your child’s most formative years, we strive to help them gain all of the skills needed to reach their full potential.
